As part of the membership registration process, we collect personal information. We use that information for a few reasons:

      and satisfied;

  • to support with member enquiries and complaints;

We may share personal information with other organisations for the legitimate interests of the operation of your membership. Data is stored predominantly within the UK, however for specific services your personal information may be held outside of the EU (Known as “Third Countries” under GDPR). Our Third Country data processors may change over time whilst remaining under the scope of legitimate interest. All our data processors protect your personal information in compliance with local and GDPR legislation.


How we protect your personal data 

We will not transfer your personal data outside the EU without your consent.

How long do we keep your personal data 

We will hold your personal data on our systems for as long as you are a member of Sourced. We will review your personal data every year to establish whether we are still entitled to process it. If we decide that we are not entitled to do so, we will stop processing your personal data except that we will retain your personal data in an archived form in order to be able to comply with future legal obligations e.g. compliance with tax requirements and exemptions, and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.


Your rights

You have rights under the GDPR:

(a) to access your personal data;  

(b) to be provided with information about how your personal data is processed;

(c) to have your personal data corrected;

(d) to have your personal data erased in certain circumstances;

(e) to object to or restrict how your personal data is processed;

(f) to have your personal data transferred to yourself or to another business in certain circumstances.

We may request further specific information to help us confirm your identity should you wish to access your personal data. This is security measure that ensures we do not disclose any private information to an individual who does not have the right to receive it.

We aim to respond to all legitimate requests within one month of receipt of the request, however should your request be complex we may take slightly longer to process your data (up to an additional two months). In prolonged cases, we will contact you within the initial month of the request being submitted with an estimated response time.
