From Parcels to Property!

I’ve not been working in property for a long time, two months to be exact. I had a job for 7 years as a courier and loved every minute. But when pay cuts came and my hours and days got longer, it was time to take control of my life and start earning money for myself, not a greedy parcel company. I quit on the 1st of December and had my first Christmas off in 7 years.

I spoke with Franchisee Manager Claire and Director Paul about Sourced in November and they showed me one strategy. In December, that paid off and I bagged my first deal in property. The commission was 41k. A full year’s wage earned in one month. Is it really that easy? Hell no! But the drug had been taken and I was hooked!

Fast forward to February, my official start date and time for a week’s training at Sourced HQ. On the first day of my training, HMO daddy – Jim Haliburton and Rent to Rent king – Chris Kirkwood, filled my head with information and inspiration and I was raring to go! I went home that night and attacked the laptop looking for deals!

Tuesday and Wednesday flew by with training from the guys at HQ. Learning strategies, systems, deal calculators, and live deal sourcing with Director of Sourced, Steve. If you’re going to learn something, surely Steve is the man after making 300k on one deal!

Thursday was probably the most important day with a compliance masterclass from Tina Walsh. Complimentary lunch was provided for the whole week, including a team meal out on the final day to send us on our way. We were ready! Armed with information and about to hit our territories!

I’ve learnt so much in such a short space of time. The support is fantastic, and the office has an ‘open door’ policy. We are always welcome at the HQ.

The future looks bright, watch this space…
